Vonage I am just wondering if Vonage can coexist successfully with bringing files down

I am just wondering if Vonage can coexist successfully with bringing files down through Bit Torrent. I realize I probably have to throttle the Torrent client. My service I think is 3MB down, but I don't know what my REAL downstream speed is.

I am new to torrenting files, but I seem to recall that the client can tailor a time frame as to when it is bringing down the most data. I *think* that was the case.
