I am having the same problem. The corded phone works, but the cordless (actually 2 different ones) will not connect for incoming or outgoing calls. There is a dial tone and I can dial out, but then it is only dead air. The phone will ring for an incoming call, but when I answer it is dead air and the person calling keeps hearing the phone ring. When I hang up, the person calling me is disconnected as well as if I answered and hung up. My wife and I have tested this several times using our cell phones, a corded phone (which always works), and two different cordless phones. I went through all the steps on the Vonage help page and even set a static IP address which actually seemed to help as I could make and receive calls successfully on the cordless phone. Several hours later; however, I was having the same problem with the cordless, but could plug in the corded phone and everything was fine.
I've had Vonage for 2 years now and this is a very recent problem (last month or so).
