I access my internet over a wireless connection. I do not typically have physical access to the router, and it would not be practical to run a cat5 cable to it. I do have the ability to configure it however I want.
I'd like to get set up with Vonage, but want to make sure that I order the right equipment.
If I got the WRTP54G could I simply bridge that into my existing wireless network and use the phone port (ie, nothing plugged into the cat5 internet port)? If not, what would be the simplest way of setting up vonage into my existing network? I'd rather use as little equipment as possible, both for economic and spatial considerations. I get the impression that if I were to add another wireless router in bridging mode that I could then plug a vonage adapter into that, but that seems redundant to me (3 routers in the system where only 2 should be needed). Although, if the former doesn't work, will the latter?
