Hopefully this will help someone. I have the dlink VWR and have experienced the loss of settings after power is lost. I called Vonage CS and the guy was aware of problems with this device. His solution worked for me. Be sure to do this in exact order. I had been doing everything except using the Access Point button. Make your changes and be sure to click "apply" on each page. When all changes have been made, go to the "Home" tab and click the "System" button on the left side. On the System screen click the "Restart Access Point" button. When that is complete then go back and click the "Reboot" button. I was able to unplug the device after this and the custom settings remained.
