SYSTEM LEASE: Purchase of 18 consecutive months (24 months for advanced receivers) of any DIRECTV base programming package ($29.99/mo. or above) or qualifying international services bundle required. FAILURE TO ACTIVATE ALL DIRECTV SYSTEM EQUIPMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE EQUIPMENT LEASE ADDENDUM MAY RESULT IN A CHARGE OF $150 PER RECEIVER NOT ACTIVATED. IF YOU FAIL TO MAINTAIN YOUR PROGRAMMING, DIRECTV MAY CHARGE A PRORATED FEE OF UP TO $480.
The $480 is if you cancel all, otherwise what you cancel for the full term.
And of course you bought a bundle from AT&T, so I assume you are under a minumum contract for phone and internet too. Not to say it is a bad deal, just that everybody does it and virtually nobody backs down on ther TOS. Try cancelling a cell phone beore your contract is due :(
