Vonage Hi there, I have a new Vonage account and I bought a VTech 8100 cordless phone(s)

Hi there,
I have a new Vonage account and I bought a VTech 8100 cordless phone(s) in addition to the RTP300 which was sent to me.

The RTP300 always works. So I used it to call Vonage and had them add the MAC address of my VTech.

The tech added it, and it is supposed to work.

Every time I start the VTech, it goes from a red light, to a blinking amber light, and then a steady amber light. Almost never green.

Once in a while it goes to a green light. Those few times it goes green, I can receive calls through all the phones, but I can't originate calls anywhere via the VTech.

The RTP300 works all the time.

The VTech doesn't work by itself either.

I've done the following orientations:
Cable Modem -> Linksys Router -> RTP300 -> VTech
Cable Modem -> Linksys Router -> VTech -> RTP300
Cable Modem -> RTP300 -> VTech -> Linksys Router
Cable Modem -> VTech -> RTP300 -> Linksys Router
Cable Modem -> RTP300 -> Linksys Router -> VTech
Cable Modem -> VTech -> Linksys Router -> RTP300

None of them work any better or worse.
I can always get to the Internet through any of the devices.
All the devices have different IP addresses:
Linksys 192.168.4.1
RTP300 192.168.5.1
VTech 192.168.16.1 (requested by the Vonage guy)

My next step is to call Vonage and have them remove my VTech MAC, wait, then call back and have it re-added.

All they've told me to do is "change IP, shut down, restart" which I've done about a bazillion times (as you might imagine).

When I leave the VTech plugged in (and it is amber), I sometimes come back to it and find that the message light is blinking. It is picking up old voicemail messages (we've had 2 VM's ever, and the VTech says that we have 2 VM's, but there is no broken dial tone on the RTP300 or VM's in the Vonage dashboard).

Any help would be great! Is this ever going to work?
Thanks,
TTFN

Hmmm... it might be possible to two devices if only one is powered on at a time. So
This thread actually contradicts what I have been hearing from Vonage Help reps:

I have three vonage lines. One number uses the Linsky3000 adapter. One has a VTech.
