Hi everyone, I have been reading several posts about RTP300 issues, mostly noise in the line. I had this problem for over 2 months and tried almost everything to fix it with no luck. If you have the same problem try this, it worked for me: Get a new power adapter. The original RTP300 has a grounded power adapter that, in my case, wasn't working properly. The noise increased when I connected anything to the router, a laptop, a switch, etc. I ended up having my router for VoIP use only, still had noise in the line. Moving the router from one location to another made me realize what the problem was. I didn't want to move the power adapter so I used a similar one on the other location; it must be 12V and around 1200mA. Voila!! No more noise. I thought the location was the issue, so i decided that would be the new permanent location for the router and I also moved the original power adapter. WTH!?!?! Noise is back !! After some testing with the old (original) and new (generic) adapters, I moved everything back to the original location, original network topology, but using this generic power adapter. The difference is amazing. The power adapter is the last thing I would consider to replace, but in fact it was the cause of the problem. Let me know if it works for you
