Hi all, we recently switched to Vonage phone service. I am having trouble with my internet speed. We have cable internet 1.5 mbps speed (I think thats how it goes) and now every since I have plugged their router up to my cable modem and computer our internet speed is slower than dial-up. I called Vonage and after serveral things we tried did not help they decided to send me a new Linksys router. Now I have the new router and the same thing is happening! I cant stand how slow it is!!!! I called again and after going through a few things they chalked it up to there being a problem with my internet and to call the provider. Well I did and theere's no trouble there. It just seems funny that I never had a problem with my internet speed until I plugged in their router. Anyone else experience this? If so how do you fix it? I really want ot use this service but I will cancel if this is a problem I will just have to deal with. Cable internet cost way too much money to have worse than dail-up speeds. KWIM? Thanks in advance for any suggestions! ~Fudge

PS~ Bandwidth saver is set to normal (lowest setting)
and the tech instructed me on how to disable the Qos and then another one told me to enable it at 128 instead of 512. None of these things have made any difference.

Here are my speed tests (upload speeds) so you can see what is going on:

Bottom Line:: 4X faster than 56K 1MB upload in 39.38 sec
Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 46.58 % faster than the average for host (112.14)

WITH Vonage ADAPTOR

Bottom Line:: 0X faster than 56K 1MB upload in 1024 sec
Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 4.08 % of your hosts average (112.14)
