I can now confirm that my modem is dropping off, even without the

I can now confirm that my modem is dropping off, even without the WRTP54G connected into the network... i'm only finding this out for sure now as everything before hand was going through the WRTP54G.. All I have connected is the WRT54G and no WRTP54G and around every 5 to 10mins the modem loses it's connection (online light goes out also on the modem)
The good news is that i have a Comcast tech due tomorrow, so hopefully he'll have a replacement modem in his van.. If not I can make the drive to their depot.. This really is good news as everything now seems to point to the modem as the culprit.. Meaning I may save $70 by not having to buy a replacement Vonage adapter. Unless its a problem with the tap or line outside (i know my cabling to the drop is spot on)
