Hi There,
I have been searching the forums to see if anyone is experiencing this same issue, but haven't come across one yet.
I have the following setup:
Rogers Extreme Internet through Motorola Surfboard SB5100
Wired to
Vonage Motorola VT2142-VC
Wired to
Linksys WRT54GS
I also have two Vonage D-Link VTA-VD wired through the Linksys.
I have had this setup for approx 6 months now, and haven't had a problem until this last month.
Every 2-3 days, I loose the ability to connect to the internet on any machine (we have two - one wired to the Linksys and one wireless to it). At the same time, all the phone lines will go down.
On the Rogers Modem - all lights are lit. The same for the Linksys. On the Motorola VT2142-VC, only the Internet and Ethernet lights are lit - neither of the lines are and the Power light flashes.
The only way to fix this problem is to unplug everything, wait for 2 or so minutes, and then plug one item in at a time. Obviously, this is a pain.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
The Rogers Modem works perfectly, as I have connected it directly to the Linksys, and all is well - which is why I am guessing it has something to do with the VT2142.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

• this is issue was escalated to vonage since Jan '09. Primarily causing the Motorola
