Thanks for your info. Mine had too much static but I am beginning to believe it is something besides phones.
I have so muc stuff set up. I have got three computers, 7 printers, 2 scanners, and all kinds of electric presses due to I also do some dye sub work. So...it might be something else. My cords area disaster and I can't seem to get them straight no matter what I do. I have took them apart and redone them at least 10 or 15 times but they still get tangled.
I had the pansonic in a separate surge protector with nothing in it but the phone. It was sitting far off in the corner of the room away from all other stuff but the phone cord was extra long and was run around the room in circles to reach the adapter.
I am going to keep trying to find one that will work and tyring different setups until about the end of April and if I am not content with with anything by then, I guess I will cancel and wait until further down the line.
I can't get my fax to work either. Any suggestions? I can send one out in about three tries but cannot get a whole fax. I just get about the top two inches of the first page. My fax is in my computer.
If that off topic. I guess it is. I am sorry.

Wonder can I turn the Caller ID off to where I can see who calls but don't have to listen to it?
