That is a valid question that I should have addressed pro actively - sorry.

This site is going under some pretty massive backend rebuilds during the night time hours, I think I have a sticky about it. You might have noticed that the traffic has increased a bunch lately, but the site loads much faster also. More to come. We are real close to Identifying why the speed test works properly on uploads, but not on downloads.

Anyhow, work needed to be done on the sites sessions files. They are very important files, as they control your cookies (so the site knows what thread you have read, who you are...) Great care is need with this file during these night time upgrades or this site could get really hosed.

Modifications to the sessions file is temporarily causeing issues with the Googlebot that is sent to any page that the Google search tool is on.

We are only able to present the Google search tool on the page that it is currently on, because we have turned off the right hand block on that page (this is where the sessions data is pulled from, hence; no scrolling forums on that page).

This is all temporary and the search tool will be put back very shortly.
