Vonage Hi,
I want to switch to Vonage, but because I'm anal I want to be able to run it
Hi,
I want to switch to Vonage, but because I'm anal I want to be able to run it through the jacks already existing in my house. I understand that I have to disconnect the outside line coming in to do this.
My question is, who do I need to talk to about having this done? I've not yet seen a box in my unit where the phone lines come in, I will search some more. Assuming the box is outside, do I need to talk to the phone company (Cox, I think, although Verizon is also available) or to my apartment complex? My worry is that Cox might be less than helpful when I tell them I want to be disconnected completely.
Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I hadn't seen it before. Thanks in advance for the help.
