we have a cable internet connection through roadrunner by time warner calbe
upload: about 442kb/s
download: about 2.34 Mb/s
modem: motorola SURFboard cable modem SB4100
Vonage adapter: motorola vt2442-vd

Modem->Linksys wrt150-n router->vonage adapter->plugged into phone jack

THE PROBLEM: when we make a call from our house to someone who 2 people in our house want to speak to, we typically would just use two house phones to talk to that person - so a total of three people involved in the phone call.

with Vonage, we've had an issue where after the call is connected, the second person in our house will attempt to pick up the second phone, and the first phone that was being used will be disconnected, causing only the second person to be in touch with the person who is being called.

Anyone know how to fix this?
