Hi

I have had a little more trouble with connectivity on my Rogers since using Vonage. There would be red lights on my Terrayon cable modem once every two weeks. It would correct itself eventually, but the problem has been really bad in the last month. I think the problem is on their end and once when I called with the red light, a msg on the phone stated there were network problems in Ontario.

One of the things Rogers recommends when there is problems, it to disconnect the the power in the modem, wait 15 seconds and turn it back on. Did that. The light remained blinking on send and receive. Anyway I connected the cat5 ethernet cable from the modem to directly to my network router and have had no problems surfing out.

When trying to connect my modem to the digital phone adaptor and powering up the phone adaptor, it is stuck at the first blink. It is unable to even start getting to blink 2 (obtaining ip address).

Is my Motorola digital phone adaptor having a problem, or is Rogers trying to block users from using Vonage.

I have followed the instructions exactly as the quick installation and have done both the single computer and multiple computer instructions.

Any ideas on how to fix this.

The Voice Terminal is is a Motorola VT1005V. What strikes me, looking at the box
In your first post you mentioned that when you connect your router to your adapter,
