Hi,

I have a Uniden Vonage system that I bought in 2006. It is the corded version that came with t a wireless phone. The wireless phone has been spotty at best with poor battery life. I added another wireless phone and it is even worse. Not only that, but the corded version has some features I cannot stand.

So I'm thinking of buying a v-portal and then getting some new phones with that. Can anyone:

1. Let me know if the v-portal is any good? As far as my existing system, the calls have held up quite fine.
2. Which phones work will with vportal? I'd like to have at least one corded phone since it will be my main office phone.
3. Can you see the Caller ID on phones (wired and wireless) when using them with the v-portal?
4. Can you use the voicemail on the phones or do you have to use the v-portal to listen to your voicemails?
