Hi,

Here's my situation :
I am always on the go... So no cable internet connection but internet anywhere...
I run a Mac...

I ordered a Vphone with unlimited plan as it was the best option for computer use. But I figured out once the order done that Vphone doesn't work on Mac. My bad on that I assumed that Vonage high tech phone company would know about that system... and the advantage to run internet on it... was wrong on that.

So I told them that I could buy the eyebeam software by counterpath, which provide the sofphone to Vonage, and I was told that it was not possible because of the proprietary process for handling registration with their inbound and outbound proxy servers written in softphone code.

What is so special with Vonage not too allow any software to run on their system...

And by the way I have no need to hear about the benefit of a softphone because I don't know what "unlimited + 500 minutes" is.

Also I forgot, but most of concurrent offers the software option for the main line.
