Anyone else had trouble getting a good incoming voice stream on a D-Link
Hi,
Anyone else had trouble getting a good incoming voice stream on a D-Link DIR-655 router? Outgoing voice is fine, but incoming is constantly choppy regardless of load. All other network connections are clean.
I recently switched out an older Belkin Pre-N router for the newer 655 and the problem appeared. The Belkin had no choppy issues. No other network changes.
I have the automatic QOS running, and have also tried to manually set QOS rules for the static IP. Also, tried putting the LinksysPAP outside the firewall and turning off the auto packet 'defragmentation' option. None of these changes made a difference.
I haven't tried to disable the SPI on the FW yet, but I really don't think this is going to do much since putting the Linksys outside the FW (in the DMZ) made any difference.
Details as follows:
Adapter is a LinksysPAP2 running 2 phones with a static IP.
Motorola Modem -> Dir-655 wireless router -> Netgear WGPS606 wireless bridge -> LinksysPAP2
Any ideas? I'm running out of them...
