Hey guys, it's me again.

Well my original problem here was the quality was insanely choppy, being an owner of a WRTP54G and a heavy downloader, this seemed to have been expected by the lot of you. I would average about 3.0 on TestYourVoip.com.

So I followed Nate's instructions, begrudgingly ordered a SECOND router to pipe it through, the ol' WRT54GL (much cooler looking might I add) and upgraded the firmware with tofu. I followed the instructions on the site and for awhile... I was doing great. 4.0's and up! The other people here said it sounded great. No more weird echoes, etc...

However, come the next morning... I can't get past 1.2 on TestYourVoip! My torrent traffic has actually been LESS than it was when I was hitting 4.0, and I cap my upstream.

I followed the QoS instructions but nothing seems to work now. Help!

Here's the detail of my setup:

Issue: Echoes, other side says we get choppy audio. Can't get over 1.2 on testyourvoip.com.

Setup: Earthlink via RoadRunner/TWC (3m down/256k up) -> RCA DCM425 -> WRT54GL + tofu (latest) -> WRTP54G

Setup In Detail of Routers:

1. WRTP54G with wireless turned off and security off plugged into Port 1 on the WRT54GL.
2. WRT54GL QoS: Upstream Cap at 200 (after trying a bunch of numbers, my highest best time on internet speed tests was over 300k up. My worst was around 250up, so I tweaked it to be below.)
3. Port QoS: 1 Highest witih Flow Control on. Other machines are on Low.
4. Device QoS: One entry for Vonage, listing it as the Highest.
5. Application QoS: Gaming Optimizations On, uTorrent for 32549 on Low, Voip for 5060 on High. Previously set Low Ports to Highest, and High Ports to Lowest (but then figure this could backfire since RTP traffic hits a random port above 1024). Now set to everything being Default.

Detailed results from testyourvoip:

ANY Ideas please help! I was wondering if maybe I can fine tune QoS if I port forward anything above that may be Vonage to go to a certain port and QoS THAT specifically (I could have sworn I thought tofu allowed you to set QoS on a RANGE of ports).

This is seriously getting ridiculous. And I've tried the site at different times as well as different locations.

Any help would be appreciated.
