Vonage Hey guys, after a lot of reading and setting up the vonage adapter...I'm starting

Hey guys, after a lot of reading and setting up the Vonage adapter...I'm starting to think those of you who are using the bridge concept are probably getting the best quality out of your Vonage .

Right now I have the RTP as first point of entry into the network...acting as a dchp server, which plugs into the lan port of a demoted router (now a switch) and now that DLINK is just handling WAP...nothing else.

So i have the RTP doing dhcp, port forwarding, remote desktop forwarding and control, and also using Vonage. I set QOS on the Vonage to enable and also made the VOICE take priority.

But after seeing these pictures...

I'm wondering if this would work for me. Even though NO ROUTING would be going through the RTP, my dlink wireless router does not have QOS. So i'm wondering if it will give me better or worse quality since the DLINK will just think its an ordinary packet transfer from the switch or any other IP device.

Maybe this setup will work if the primary router has QOS....but maybe some of you have some insite on this.

If the only traffic going through the RTP is voice, will it still go through the DLINK without a problem? or will a primary router with QOS be the only solution to this setup.
