Vonage Here's the solution. It is worth noting that both Vonage and Linksys said the same

Here's the solution. It is worth noting that both Vonage and Linksys said the same thing as Rebus: having the Vonage Linksys router connected this way will prevent printing. Patience and combining the thinking of both companies produced the solution described at length at the very bottom of this note.

If this does not work, try another which also works:

- Disable Local DCHP Server on Linksys
- Connect Linksys Port #3 to Linksys WAN/Internet port
- Connect connection to router to Linksys Port #1
- Connect the computer to Linksys Port #2

This odd wiring has the effect of turning the Linksys router into a simple LAN switch (rather than a router) while keeping its ability to be the Voip phone adapter.

The printer is a HP D135 Officejet with a network interface socket on the back that makes it Internet addressable. The HP network interface is connected through LAN cable to the Netgear Firewall Router in basement]
