Here is some clarity on the 000-000-0000 type caller-id's: The caller-id that is passed on an Inbound Vonage call that comes from the PSTN gateway is not checked against any vonage database. Thus any caller-id that comes in is considered correct. What is happening is telemarketers have found a way to NULL out the caller-id field on placed calls, so instead of using standard Caller Line Identity Restriction which will set outbound caller-id to anonymous they just make regular phone calls with a NULL from field. This was meant as a way of getting past people who have Anonymous Call Rejection. There is no relationship between the 000-000-0000 caller-ID and the Vonage devices. The devices do not alter incoming caller-ID. Hopefully this clears up some of the questions going around.

Exactly...I don't have the caller ID issue, but the 000-000-0000 was interesting.
If i saw that I would have to answer it. Could be an operator on the line... Seriously
How shortly? It's been going on for weeks, and Vonage has a lot of unhappy customers-
I was waiting to see how long it would take someone to say that... :wink:
I was rather amazed to see that the message was several hours old and had no responses.
