Here are our two main issues:

1. It has been brought to my attention that often when people call in, it will ring and instead of the voicemail picking up, a recorded prompt will begin stating that all circuits are busy and to call back later. The customer service rep said, after much pressing on my part, that they were doing some service in my area code and that the service will be restored in 24 hours. In all honesty, it sounded like the runaround to me. First, the rep said there was nothing wrong with my line and then he said it must be because 2 people are calling at the same time and finally after I pushed he gave me the aformentioned answer. At that point I realized he was not going to be any help to me so I just let it go. Is there anyone on here that has experienced the issue or has any idea how to fix it?

2. This might be a phone hardware issue. Often times, when I hang up the phone and pick it up again to call, I realize that the line has not properly dropped and I don't get a dial tone. This could be in a matter of minutes or after an hour of having hung up the phone. I also have trouble at points with call waiting and switching over to the incoming call from my existing call. I have a Uniden TRU8860-2 PowerMax 5.8 GHz Cordless 2 Handset Phone. It's barely a year old. Any recommendations?
