Vonage Hello all, great news, after endless hours of trying to firgure out how to get PORT

Hello all, great news, after endless hours of trying to firgure out how to get PORT FORWARDING working correctly on the ACTIONTEC M1424WR FIOS VERIZON Router..to my Linksys RTP 300 router...By some Miracle of God, I got it working!!! whoohoo!!!..now I can go to bed, even if it is 1:15am ..LOL.. So anyways what I did was listen to your advice's and looked at the above thread links to portforwards.com, and from there learned about Static Ip's and all that. But I didnt set any static Ip, All I had to do was this. Connected my Linksys RTP300 router directly to cat5 from verizon, and then a cat 5 into one of the 4 ports to my lan on pc,..even though I couldnt get it to connect to web, I was able to go into Linksys router and restore router back to FACTORY DEFAULT'S, and at same time realize the Ip address I needed was 192.168.15.1 so I connected everything back to normal (cat5 to actiontec router and all PC'S and links to ports on back of the Actiontec Router, then booted up from there I went into actiontec router setting's and then to FIREWALL/PORT FORWARDING....add the exact ip address (192.168.15.1) and then added the Vonage VOIP Ports that need to be forward, which were the 5061 single and the 10000-25000 range, both in the UDP Setting and applied changes and WAHLAA!! My Phone/Vonage, can now make and receive calls like it was doing yesterday....I am Glad I got this going Because I really like vonage and didnt want to have to loose/cancell it. by the way...the speeds that this FIOS Connection can download at are INCREDIBLE, although going from web page to web page is really not much fast, probabbly due to traffic and image loading times....but I did A speed test at 2 different sites and both times it was 20mbps Down and 5000 up load...Bye Bye Comcast!!!....I may even get verizon's FIOS for HD TV package when it becomes available in the area. so thanks for the help people and I am sure I will be back again If anyone get's FIOS, and can not get their vonage working, like the problems I had...I will be more than happy to help you out..just give me a Holla.

Verizon FIOS 20Mbps down / 5Mbps up

Hello, I am looking for help on this subject and hopefully I posted in the correct
yes vonage is compatiable with FIOS.the only thing that you need to check is that
I have used Vonage with my FIOS connection for quite some time without problems.
I kept losing dial tone after I switched to FIOS. I port forwarded this morning
well I got the FIOS Installed today and it is very fast....As far as the vonage goes,
it merely seems to be a firewall issue.try following the previous thread or call
That's great. One note of caution. If I understand correctly, you've enabled
What you actually can do is connect the Vonage directly to the FIOS connection
I don't recommend this configuration if you plan on using FIOS TV, especially
