Hello all, Bear in mind I'm not a tech person. 1. In June or July I will spend 5 weeks taking care of a friend's house. Dial-up is the only internet access there. DSL and cable not even available in my dreams. A Simply to receive my phone calls from Vonage, I think I can just forward my calls to the landline in the house, or to my cell phone - is this correct? But what about outgoing calls? B I found out there is an internet cafe 20 miles away at a McDonald's - can I somehow use my Vonage service there? 2. The above is for a temporary situation - but I actually will probably be moving to the same area where my friend lives. So in the long run, I'll only have dial-up too. :( What would long term solutions be to keeping my vonage service? I've been spoiled by it and don't want to give it up. :( I saw that Verizon wireless has plans that might work - but I read another post on here about how that isn't the best solution option. Ideas? Edited to add: I use a Mac.
