Vonage Hello again, It has been a few days and Vonage has been working fine, calls are being

Hello again, It has been a few days and Vonage has been working fine, calls are being received and calls are being made outgoing....no port forwarding is enabled or anything. just plugged the linksys rtp 300 into one of the LAN Ports on back of the FIOS/VERIZON Actiontec router and all is Good working Order.
My only suggetions if someone gets fios and is first time connecting all these devices together would be this.

*first connect the Verizon Actinetec router to incoming installed fiber optics cat 5 cable and let all the lights come on and connect

then connect your PC's cat 5 cables to back of this router and make sure they are all connected.

then connect your Vonage router to one of the other LAN Connection's on back of actiontec router,to the WAN connection of back of rtp 300, and let it connect

everything should be now working.

only thing I did do was,.. before disconnecting the Vonage rtp 300 as the first in line router, which was connected to my cable modem, was to go into it's setting's window of the rtp300 and set everything back to DEFAULT Setting's.

BY the Way: the FIOS 50 down speeds are available already here in south eastern mass, But not every town is ready, although my house is, but the price for it is way to high for me, so i got the 20 down/5 up for 49.99 a month, wich replaced my Comcast connection which was 6 down/350 up for 44.95 a month..was worth the switch in my opinion. while I was cancelling comcast, the woman told me that comcast does offer 16 down speeds for 52.00 a month, but I never knew that, as they never told me till cancellation Day.oh well I paid enough money to comcast in the last 7 years and all they do is raise their price every 6 months, so will stay with this for now, till someone has a better Deal. The Verison Fios Phone service is also available at my house, But Not the FIOS TV service, they are still working on that.

as far as the FIOS 20mbps Down/5mbps upload Speed go, not everything you download will be at the maximum 20 mbps download speed, basically because a lot of websites put some type of "CAP" on how fast you can download from their site, for example I was downloading a game demo from www.gamershell.com and it doesnt come close to the 20mbps speeds. I just post this info for any Novice user that are not aware of this and think that everything will be at the fastest speeds, I am sure all you advanced/Pro user's already knew this.

Verizon FIOS 20Mbps down / 5Mbps up

Hello, I am looking for help on this subject and hopefully I posted in the correct
yes vonage is compatiable with FIOS.the only thing that you need to check is that
I have used Vonage with my FIOS connection for quite some time without problems.
I kept losing dial tone after I switched to FIOS. I port forwarded this morning
well I got the FIOS Installed today and it is very fast....As far as the vonage goes,
it merely seems to be a firewall issue.try following the previous thread or call
Hello all, great news, after endless hours of trying to firgure out how to get PORT
That's great. One note of caution. If I understand correctly, you've enabled
What you actually can do is connect the Vonage directly to the FIOS connection
I don't recommend this configuration if you plan on using FIOS TV, especially
