I signed up with Vonage a year ago, I was told that I will get 30 days free
Hello,
I signed up with Vonage a year ago, I was told that I will get 30 days free service, free router and can cancel any time. Now I have changed yy number to another Land Line provider for almost 11 months, called Vonage many times, and it looks like its impossible to cancel this service. My security alarm service was not compatible with Vonage, and that was the reason for my cancellation.
Their hours of customer service is Mon - Fri , exactly hours of my work schedule, they will not cancel it online (may be their website is not secured).
Now I will have to take a day off from my worj just to try to cancel this service which I am trying for last 11 months. I don't even know what my number is, since my original number is transferred to another provider, Vonage offered me the lowest price plan to be able to receive calls, I was told three times that I will get my new number in email.
Now Vonage keep charging for the service I am not using for 11 months. When ever I called them, they start a long procedure, and telling me that I will have to pay penalty and to return their router (Which was offered to me for FREE).
Pleasae help me cancel this automatic deduction from my bank account for the service I am not using for 10 months.
