Hello,

I know I'm not the first to report this. But I have a problem with People saying my voice is breaking up with talking to them on the Vonage service. It's not all the time...it's primarily notceable when someone is loading something heavy from the Internet.

For instance when my daughter browses around on NickJr.com and is loading and unloading NickJr Flash games all day, the outbound quality is horrible. It sounds like i'm on a cell phone to the person on the other line...but I can hear them perfectly.

Here are my QOS stats:

My Results
Download 8,288,760 bps
Upload 132,200 bps
QOS 98%
RTT 188 ms
MaxPause 31 ms

On my account online the quality is set to 90Kbps. So I don't see the problem. My local network setup is as follows:

Service - Comcast -> Cable Modem -> Vonage/Linksys RT31P2 Router -> Wireless Linksys Router -> 1 PC connected via Cat5 and two wireless laptops.

From what I understand the Vonage router is suppose to prioritize the Voice over internet traffic...if it's first in line after the modem...but if my daughters NickJr.com's browsing is causing poor Voice outbound this is clearly not the case. Which is weird because it seems like her Download is affecting my Upload? Logically this doesn't make sense to me. Isn't my Voice being transferred via my Upload speed?

I think I'm just going to switch back to Bellsouth.
