Vonage Hello, I have incoming calls set to Simulring my desk phone and also to 2 different

Hello,

I have incoming calls set to Simulring my desk phone and also to 2 different T-Mobile cellphones.

The deskphone is connected directly to the Vonage Motorola box. The deskphone displays the caller id number properly.

My problem is that both cellphones display an additional "01" or "+" sign before the number from any calls forwarded from Vonage. This causes problems with the phone book and number redial.

The plus sign usually means overseas or 011 ... Sometimes it comes through with a "+" sometimes with a "01" without regard to being international or within US originated call.

When a US call comes in with the "+" sign in front of the number the complete 10 digit number is displayed. (i.e. "+2101234567")

However, whenever the "01" is displayed in front of the US number the last 2 digits of the complete phone number are cut off. (i.e. "0121012345")

This error only occurs when calls from Vonage are forwarded or SimulRing to 1 or both cellphones.

Our cellphone receive calls from all over the world, caller ID either works flawlessly or caller id doesn't work at all. (However, with calls that pass through the Vonage system it seems that caller id is somewhere between funtional and disfunctional.) The caller ID field on the cellphones is capable of displaying atleast 12 digits.

Through searching on this forum, I have seen a lot a different inconsistencies with caller id and no clear cut fix or problem that I can determine... "things" seem to happen eventually with enough persistence.

Is there anything I can do or any magic words to tell customer service?

Thanks for any help.
