Hello, I have been trying to get info about this from Vonage, but the phones were taking for ever to be awnsered. I have a Vonage router from when I signed up, but it isnt very good. Only has 3 ethernet ports, and I have to keep my phone in my computer room. I would like to add more phones without having to run wire through the house. I saw on the Vonage homepage the new vtech phones with the small Vonage box, and was thinking about getting that as it said no router is needed. I was thinking I could use that and then use my router I had before wich was a great microsoft one with wireless, and then plug the vtech into that one.
So my question is , will this work with my service. Would I be able to buy this phone set, and hook up my old router plug the vtech phones into my router and be set with my service and phone number, or am I locked into my current Vonage router? Or can I change it to this vtech set up easily?
