Vonage HERE IS THE FIX FOR YOUR ISSUE : 1) Remove all wires from MTA VT2142 including

HERE IS THE FIX FOR YOUR ISSUE :

1) Remove all wires from MTA VT2142 including the power
2) Conn Power cable ( VT2142 power has a WHITE TAG ).. to differentiate the one with Modem.
3) Push the Reset button for 40 secs
4) unplug the Power from VT2142 & keep it aside

5)Conn Modem -> PC, Login to your MOTOROLA SBG900 modem, Set the Firewall policy to NONE. This keeps the Trafic open for inbound & outbound .

6)Now Remove the Computer from MODEM
7) conn PC to the YELLOW ethernet port in VT2142 & Conn MODEM back to BLUE Internet port in VT2142. Conn the power back to VT2142 & Wait for Power light & phone light to come on. conn phone & u should be getting a dial tone.
