Getting Vonage (motorola MTA) to work with ISA 2000
First I used smarisetty's script to open the following ports.
' UDP In: {69,53,5060,5061,5062,5063, RTP:10000,11600}
' UDP Out: {69,53,5060,5061,5062,5063, RTP:10000,11600}
These ports only allowed the phone to ring and display caller id.
What I did:
The MTA's web admin program said that it needed ports 10000-10011 opened. I opened those (both ways) and published the ports. That gave me audio in one direction only (incoming on the mta) I then monitored the ports that it tried to use (making and receiving calls) It also used - 17369, 15326, 16765
15362, 10143. It uses the different ports depending on whether it was an incoming or outgoing call.
I am not sure if this will work for anyone else. I think the ports needed are dynamic, based on the MTA device. I am just happy to say it works.
