Vonage First off I am in the Bahamas and my experience with Vonage is borrowing a friends

First off I am in the Bahamas and my experience with Vonage is borrowing a friends phone to make a call so I need some help from all you experts in here.

Okay,
I have DSL modem - Efficient Networks SpeedStream 5667 - If I'm correct it uses the Tango Manager program to work. I have DSL line coming into this modem and then connecting out to the Linksys RT31P2 broadband router which was sent directly from Vonage. The internet works fine with this connection, however I do not have a light showing on Phone 1 or 2 - Never have, Therefore I have NO dial tone.

I contacted Vonage 1st told me to check with my ISP to see if my DSL modem was in Router or Bridge mode - it is infact in Bridge mode and if I obtain an ISP automatically - which I do. Still nothing works. Emailed Vonage again and they told me to configure the Broadband router for PPOE which I have done via http://192.168.15.1 - When I check status here under voice is blank and under Router it says dissconnected no matter if I click on connect.

I have rebooted, unplugged at least 10 times. I must tell you this I can not tell my ISP provider that I am trying to connect a Voip router because they are also the ONLY Phone company in the Bahamas and therefore - Vonage is a BIG NO NO.

My computer has no firewall and as I said before I am able to go online without any problems. I need some serious help from you guys.
