Vonage First, let me apologise for not using the quote tag. It just seemed complicated

First, let me apologise for not using the quote tag. It just seemed complicated to insert a quote at each issue. I DID use iHateBellSouth's numbering system, at least.

1) What's your screen res, iHateBellSouth? I haven't noticed any problems on my end.

2) Evidently, you can edit posts in the Cafeteria. I'm not sure why there's a difference, unless it's because that area is open to a wider range of topics and is therefore less formal. But yeah, I know I'd enjoy the privilege of editing my posts, since I've jumped through the hoop of registering.

3) Maybe I'm odd(er than the average site visitor), but I did just that... at first. Before using the coupon, though. I thought the forum would be a useful place to get some of my questions answered (I actually was able to do this using a combination of previously posted answers here and e-mailing customer care.) CNET's review helped, too. Anyway, now that I'm a Vonage customer, I decided it was time to register at this site. to answer a few questions myself. But I think iHateBellSouth's first option is preferable. The coupon was my first draw.

4.) It's too bad site visitors don't read the initial Vonage Forum page. It explains all of that. "Lastly...." But it does so without the use of a gaudy or bold font. So maybe people just need things shoved in their faces nowadays to understand.

5) Heh heh... I was kind of amused by this. I mean, yeah! It's extremely nice to know about free calls to Ireland on St. Patrick's day... too bad it's June.

6) Amen. Text doesn't take that long to load up, but it sure is a pain in the butt to click "next" constantly. Give me 200 entries per page any day!

7). Oh, does it not work during an actual alert? I'm just glad it's not taking up any MORE space than it needs. I'm assuming it supports the site. I mean, other than the orange-blue color combination, what does this have to do with Vonage?

8). I kind of like it. It's the fastes t way to see what's newly posted across topics. Plus, it's the most direct way to get to topics I've been posting in.

9). If you can find a willing soul...

10). I was wondering about that, too.

11). You can always type in your blog if the forum's down ;op
That's a pretty good way to spend the evening if you're feeling homebodyish.

12). Again, I think this is their fault. I mean, Vonage pretty much demands that you visit their website if you use their service. There are easy-to-find "contact" and "customer care" links on the website. Why the heck are people searching out Vonage-Forum and reporting issues here? This ain't Trillian.cc!

-So that's it-

90% of the time, I agree with iHateBellSouth. I do, by the way, also like the people here at the forum. It's a good crowd. Some of us are lazy enough to stay, but as with our Vonage service, even the most satisfied of us would be excited to see improvements.
