Vonage Finally did the dual router configuration as described in this post and it works

Finally did the dual router configuration as described in this post and it works perfect.

My orig network was CABLE MODEM <-> WRT54G <-> computers

Plugged in RTP300 into the WRT54G and all was good right out of the box, no config changes. But I was unable to get to 192.168.15.1 from anything plugged in to WRT54G and could not get to 192.168.1.1 from anything plugged in to RTP300.

Phone has been and is still working on phone1 port and is plugged into existing wiring, after disconnecting verizon from NIU.

Config now is - CABLE MODEM <-> WRT54G <-> RTP300 (Cable from LAN to WAN on RTP300 and cable from LAN-RTP300 to LAN-WRT54G. There is also a BEFSR41 configured as a switch plugged in to WRT54G.

Only change was to disable DHCP server on RTP300. Firewall was disabled on RTP300 by default. All computers (five total including one wireless laptop) operate on 192.168.1.X subnet. Interesting that RTP300 gets an ip from WRT54G in the 192.168.1.X subnet. To access it currently I am using 192.168.1.100.

EDIT: Previously printers could not be shared between sub nets but now all computers can see all printers. (three of them)
