Does your ISP give you multiple IP addresses? If so, try running the Motoroal ATA in bridge mode by unchecking NAT/DHCP. In this mode, both the ATA and your router will be on the ISP subnet and need to be assigned WAN IPs from your ISP, but the router is disabled on the ATA. It will pass-through all traffic, except for the Voip traffic. This is the configuration that I'm using.
I've read that all Vonage adapters are lousy routers, although, I never had issues while I was running the ATA in router mode. I figured there is no reason for having two NAT routers and I wanted to streamline my network configuration. I'm still keeping the ATA in front of my Netopia router for upstream QoS, which is what matters given my 768k uplink vs. 6.0m downlink.
