Vonage Does any one know a way to ping the Vonage box or system to let you know if it is not

Does any one know a way to ping the Vonage box or system to let you know if it is not working. My system pings a web site now to tell me if the internet is up or not, but I would like to know what I could do to keep track of Vonage. I use homeseer to run my home, so its easy to activate a warning light and even give a message over the surround sound speakers. I just would need to know what i should ping. Looking for help. Please,

Intermittant outage

• Mine is out in the West Coast - out for the past few minutes. Was out for 6 hours on
• the issues that have been occuring should not continue to occur as I have an inside
• The last several days I have had intermittant Vonage outages. Cable is fine. I
• Mine is out now in Central Ohio, it has been intermiten for about a week. Earlier
• System back on - outage was for about 30 minutes this time.
• Mine is back on also on now, I don't know how long it was out. Wife is still not
• What is odd is my Son lives about 1 mile from me same ISP, Road Runner from TW. I called
• Mine was out intermediatly yesterday, hoping this is not going to start happening
• Vonage has recently been ordered by the courts to pay Verizon for patent violations.
