Vonage Depending on the security of the wireless network, this may or may not work. But

Depending on the security of the wireless network, this may or may not work. But I'm thinking you could set up a wireless bridge that you would plug the Vonage device into.

The wireless bridge could either be a PC or a dedicated appliance such as a Linksys bridge. I would try it with a PC first, before buying a dedicated device, to see if the wireless security will even let you do this.

Basically you would connect the PC to the wireless network, and then you would bridge a connection from the PC's wireless card to the PC's ethernet card. You would then plug the Vonage device into the PC's ethernet card. If using Windows, I think this is called Internet Connection Sharing.

If this works, then you could break free of the PC by putting a Linksys wireless bridge in place, and then connect the Vonage/Linksys device to the wireless bridge. If you have a spare Linksys WAP or wireless router, many of these can be converted into wireless bridges using third party firmware.

I think Vonage is also working on a WiFi phone that will do exactly what you want with no extra hardware.

Let us know if you get it to work - good luck!

The Linksys product that you would want to use for a bridge would be a WET11 or WET54G.
Thanks for the tip. Those do seem like the right devices for the job. But, are there
