As this forum may or may not know, I am currently in the process of switching from DSL to cable. A cable guy from Brighthouse came in today and set up my cable connection.

When I switched my router from DSL to cable modem, my phone wasn't working. I tried re-setting the Linksys RT31P2, but it still wasn't working. I finally decided to do a total network reset: I turned off my cable modem, my router, and the Linksys. I turned each on one by one, waiting for them to fully boot up: and it worked!

My speed tests now report I can support 4 high speed Voip lines, and I've increased my bandwidth in the bandwidth saver. I am very happy with both my cable company and Vonage right now.

Now to sever the final connection with Sprint and attempt wiring my apartment for Vonage.
