As a Vonage customer for the past 6 months, it is cheaper than Bell South here in Montgomery, AL. I signed up when my brother in FL told me about it. I then signed my daughter up in Providence, RI. I expected to see a Montgomery Area Code within the past 6 months. Still, no area code and no info from Vonage about it. This is my NUMBER 1 dissatisfier with Vonage and it will be a back breaker for them. I am not recommending Vonage to anyone else and fully expect to switch to LINGO within the next few months along with my brother and daughter because I simply cannot continue to deal with a Norfolk, VA area code in Alabama!!!

Lingo has the following area codes right now in Alabama:
BIRMINGHAM 205
DECATUR 256
FLORENCE 256
HUNTSVILLE 256
MOBILE 251
MONTGOMERY 334
TALLADEGA 256
TUSCALOOSA 205

I am suggesting to my friends and collegues here in Alabama to sign up for LINGO as Vonage continues to be silent about why they can't sign me up for a 334 area code.
