You blame Vonage for the loss of your Internet service, which according to you now is not AT&T. However, Vonage only had communications with AT&T to port your number from AT&T to Vonage. If your Internet provider is not AT&T, but the phone number for the DSL line went through AT&T, then the failure is between AT&T and your 3rd party Internet provider.

Either AT&T should have notified your ISP that your service would be disconnected by porting the number, and arranged for a new number to take its place, or your ISP should have noticed that your service was disconnected and talked to AT&T about re-establishing it.

How could Vonage have known ANYTHING about this arrangement? Vonage has NOTHING to do with your Internet service, they're not responsible AT ALL for maintaining your Internet service.

I agree that you shouldn't have had to do anything other than tell Vonage you wanted to move your number. And from what I can see, that is all Vonage did. It was actions taken either by AT&T or by your ISP (or, perhaps, their lack of proper action) that has caused this situation.

Again, your anger here is not unfounded or without merit, but it is misplaced.
