Vonage Anyone else having problems. Around 10am PST had someone complain about my voicemail
Anyone else having problems. Around 10am PST had someone complain about my voicemail message being very garbly and indiscernable. They said it was choppy and some parts played REAL slow in between chops.
I tried it from a landline and it was pretty much indiscernable to me. Phoned Vonage and the support person tried it and of course it worked perfectly then from Vonage and from a landline.
Later on about noon PST I phoned my own number to check voicemail and there was a LOOOONG pause from when the phone stopped ringing to when the voicemail message started. Long enough for anyone who phones to hang up thinking something was wrong before hearing the message. I would say the pause was a good 10seconds.
Tried again about an hour later it seemed to be working ok.
What is going on?! So far I have been quite happy with Vonage but these little incidences of flakiness every once in awhile are getting annoying. I don't expect perfection. I just want it to work pretty good 99% of the time. Not 80% of the time. This IS a phone service after all, not an ISP service.
