All of a sudden I went from havng great calls to lousy calls. (but once in a while there are great). I just did the www.testyourvoip.com (see below) before I made a call.. It started out fair and ended with me not being able to have a conversation. I am pretty sure that Comcast if the problem, but their tests tell them, "no problem" . Sure would appreciate help The details of my setup are 1 Atlanta . Your location 2. Comcast Your ISP name and type (cable, DSL, wireless etc) 3. Usually 3m/300k Upload and download speeds 4. Motorola SB5120 Modem make and model 5. RT31P2 Type of Vonage adapter used ie RT31P2 or PAP2 6. Cable -Modem - Vonage Setup of Network ie Modem->Vonage Adapter->PC VoIP Quality Test Results These results have been sent to you by 'joel' at the following IP address: 24.98.108.148 These results were generated at 08/29/05 03:29 PM EDT Quality Between You and Boston Forget the phone, try Pony Express Like tin cans and string As bad as a crummy cell phone call Your score: 3.3 As good as a decent cell phone call Like calling next door Better than being there! 2.0 4.0| 5.0 Test Details The information below explains why your call quality score (MOS) was less than perfect.
