Actually, I think I narrowed my problem down and it isn't what either one of us thought, but not sure why your site is so sensitive. (By the way, I have tried logging out/in, deleting cookies, etc, no effect.) But if I change my tcpswinsize / tcprwinsize variables in the stack to > 32K, vonage-forum.com quits working, and set them to 32K it works. When >32k the main vonage.com page doesn't complete loading either, but as I never stayed there long, I never noticed that as I'd login to the dashboard, etc, and that worked fine. I have not noticed this on other non Vonage sites, which is real strange as you'd think an IP stack change would be more global in effect and bugs behavior. Perhaps it is something in common filler/ads you share with Vonage (and that's why I could get farther when resolving those ad hosts to 0.0.0.0). Anyway, I guess when I visit here, I'll "untweak" and try to assertain any other sites that show odd behaviors. The buffer tweaks do help my transfer rates & thruput when I'm doing mega transfers, but for browsing, I could live untweaked. Kinda interesting, but must be some type of interaction anomoly low down in the stack with the flushes and perhaps nagle'ng settings.
Anyway, my apologies for complaining. Leave it to me to expose wierd bugs, even if it appears to be in my ip stack.
