At this current time you can not have a DSL connection without a phone number.

Its does not matter if the DSL is with Bell or wholesale through another provider. I was told that you need a dial tone from the central office for DSL to work.

When Bell's starts to offer Voip , there may be a chance that we can have DSL without a phone number.

In conclusion in order to have a DSL connection. You must have local phone service from any carrires ( Sprint etc.... )

I found it a lot easier to get a DSL from an ISP when I had local Bell Canada service.
