A/C or D/C the same also? Maybe a dumb question since it sounds like you had people actually physically look at the original one and should have known the difference.
Well, if it's getting enough power then the only other possibility is that the device is bad. I suppose if you have someone in the states you could send it to them and ask them to plug it in and see if it goes solid green. If the device's MAC address is registered with Vonage and it's plugged into a high-speed connection then it should show solid green for the phone line as well.
The only other guess I can come up with is if you are not plugged directly into a wall outlet you might try bypassing anything you have in between, like a power strip or surge protector.... :?:
Then too, some of these devices need time on first power-up to update their firmware. No idea if this is the case with yours, but one sometimes needs to let them sit for about ten minutes while they connect and update, at which time you should not attempt to call or even pick up the phone. Still just guessing here and throwing out ideas for what they're worth....
