6. Setup of Network: Modem->Netgear FR114P Router(WAN port: from modem, LAN ports: PC1,PC2,PC3,TEW-432BRP)->Trendnet TEW-432BRP Wireless Router(LAN ports:PC4, PC5, RTP300)->Vonage Adapter RTP300 (WAN port:from TEW-432BRP)
- The subnet is 192.168.15, FR114P has DHCP server enabled, the other routers have DHCP and what not disabled. To get the RTP300 to work like it is, i had to set it to static IP, change router IP to 192.168.2.3, and did Clone Mac Address (don't ask me why. the Vonage line could not connect, until i found this solution on the internet and it works).
7. Issues: Well i have experienced LOTS of issues. I had first lots of problems with dropped calls. Calls would last about 5 minutes, then the line just went blank. I had the RTP300 connected directly to the modem at first. Talking with Vonage support got me nowhere, but in the end i realized the RTP300 is a piece of junk (i hate it, really), and it was actually dropping my PPPoE connection every 5 minutes. so, i changed it to my current config and only get dropped calls every now and then (yay). i still have a problem of the line not always being connected (sometimes when people call it goes straight to voicemail).
anyways, the biggest issue right now: for whatever wierd reason, if i have the RTP300 ON, meaning my Vonage service is on, on a certain PC on my network all internet and network traffic to/from that computer does not work (or will barely work for a second). if i unplug/turn off the RTP300 it works fine again. i have tried changing the IP address on the computer, and also connecting it at different routers/ports, but it's the same problem. it only happens on that one computer, every other computer is fine.

• well i checked the MAC clone address and sure enough it was the same as the one on
• Your dropped calls and bad audio may be due to the fact that the RTP300 is sitting
• like i mentioned, things were actually much worse when i had the RTP300 as the primary
• BitTorrent will do it, unless you have your QoS very well configured and have a
