Speed test statistics - Download speed: 16308960 bps Upload speed: 685888 bps Quality of service: 87 % Download test type: socket Upload test type: socket Maximum download pause: 58 ms Average download pause: 1 ms Minimum round trip time to server: 55 ms Average round trip time to server: 81 ms VoIP test statistics - Jitter: you -> server: 4.9 ms Jitter: server -> you: 8.5 ms Packet loss: you -> server: 0.0 % Packet loss: server -> you: 0.0 % Packet discards: 0.0 % Packets out of order: 0.0 % Number of supported VoIP lines: 9 Estimated MOS score: 4.0 My tests usually are a lot better than this one but there are a lot of other conditions within the pipe which Vonage has no sight of or control over. Unless someone on the forum has access to a spectrum analyzer to dig a bit deeper, we will either have to live with the service as is or jump ship and pay more. When I first ported over to Vonage from SBC the customer service and call quality were top notch but things seem to have changed. There are times where you get a good deal and there are other times where you get what you pay for. When I need to make a call when choppy audio is an issue, I just fire up SKYPE on the PC and have a flawless and free conversation. Since all good things usually come to an end, the free is going away in 2007
