1. Reading, MA (near boston)
2. Verizon Fios 5/2 (installed around 3/10/06)
3. 5/2
4. No modem needed with FIOS
5. WRT54GP2 firmware 1.30.xx (From memory, I get this later when I get back home)
6. Vonage router - (PC, NIM-for TV VOD, Wireless PC) PC's are normally turned off and were turned off whenever I had problems.
7. Outgoing calls are fine, audio is great. Number transfer from Verizon went well about 3 weeks ago(it took about 5 days from LOA).
Various problems with incoming calls. One person got a message saying phone is disconnected. two other callers gets send immediately to voicemail and voicemail says mailbox is full even though it is empty.(with this caller I see them on caller ID and it rings very briefly sometimes) One call resulted in audio only one way. Called that one back and it was fine. This person has called us successfully on Vonage other times.

The people who have all gotten sent directly to voicemail have never been able to call us while we've had Vonage. I know one of them has tried at least 4 different times in the last few days as these calls show up in the activity log on vonages web site. It would seem very odd to me that is an ISP problem and they are just unluckily calling at the exact instant when there are ISP issues. Also, why would they get to voicemail and not be able to leave a message? I was thinking that perhaps they are getting to my old verizon voicemail which was only canceled a few weeks ago?

I also ran pingplotter for 2 days(It took 2 days to get a login ID for this forum.)- one day with it pinging www.google.com and it didn't show any red lines and total times were all under 30msec. I also ran it for a day pinging some verizon site and there were some red lines and times were in the 70msec range. What would be the best settings for pingplotter? It seems I can't set it to ping sip.vonage.com.

intermittant incoming calls problem

I noticed today that a lot of calls to my home phone from my office are getting busy
With FIOS, you should be getting MUCH better than 3.5 on the VoIP test... FWIW,
I didn't have problems getting to this site. I had problems requesting a login
You should know that Verizon.net is blocking emails from all over the world, not
