7. The time to be able to have a conversation on the phone keeps increasing with time. After a few days, I have to power-down / power-up the modem and adapter to restore service to a reasonable level. The problem occurs with both incoming and outgoing calls. For incoming calls, you hear the ring and pick up the phone, but cannot hear or talk to the person on the other end for 5 to 8 seconds. The person at the other end continues to hear ringing. For outgoing calls, the other person answers, but cannot initiate a conversation for 5 to 8 seconds. If you connect with an answering machine, you only hear about half of the message. The delay period goes to zero immediately after the power-down / power-up cycle, but over several days the delay continues to increase.
